How to Create an SMS Broadcast

Overview

Broadcasts are single messages sent to one or more customers. These can be delivered via SMS, Email, Push Notifications, or WhatsApp. In this guide, we will focus specifically on sending SMS broadcasts.

Steps to Send an SMS Broadcast:

1. Navigate to Engage:

   On the side menu, click on Engage.

2. Access the Broadcasts Tab:

   Click on the Broadcasts tab, located next to the Campaign tab.

3. Create a New Broadcast:

   Select Create Broadcast, and a dropdown menu will appear with options for SMS, Email, Push Notification, and WhatsApp. Choose SMS.

4. Input Broadcast Details:
   • Enter the Title of your SMS.
   • Select your Sender ID.
   • Type your Message content.
   • NOTE : Messages exceeding 160 characters will be charged for an additional page. The total number of pages used will be clearly displayed, allowing you to track the number of messages being sent.

5. Choose Recipients:

   Click Next and select the customer(s) you want to receive the SMS.

6. Schedule Your Broadcast:
   • After selecting your recipients, click Next.

• Choose whether to send the SMS Now or schedule it for a Later time.

7. Review and Send:

   Carefully review your message and settings. Once you're satisfied, click Send.

That's it! You've successfully sent an SMS broadcast.
