Wallet System (Pay-As-You-Go)
The Wallet System enables Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) billing on Bunce, allowing you to pay only for what you use — whether it's SMS, email, or monthly active users (MAU).
This guide will walk you step-by-step through using the wallet system, topping up your balance, and purchasing credits.
📌 What is Pay-As-You-Go?
Pay-As-You-Go allows you to:
- Only pay for the exact number of messages or users you engage.
- Avoid overage fees or unused quotas.
- Top up your wallet and spend credits as needed.
❗ You must have wallet funds to purchase credits. Without wallet balance, you cannot use PAYG services.
🧭 Step-by-Step Guide
1. Access the Wallet
- Log in to your Bunce dashboard.
Navigate to Settings > Wallet from the sidebar.
2. Top Up Your Wallet
To add funds:
Click the “Top Up Wallet” button at the top right.
- Choose your payment gateway (e.g., Paystack).
- Enter the amount you want to add.
- Click “Top Up”.
You will be redirected to Paystack where you can:
- Pay via card or
Use bank transfer.
Once the payment is successful:
- Your wallet balance is automatically updated.
A transaction log appears in your dashboard for record-keeping.
3. Purchase Credits (SMS, Email, or MAU)
Once your wallet is funded:
Click the “Purchase Credits” button.
- A popup window will appear.
- Choose the credit type:
- SMS
- MAU (Monthly Active Users)
- Enter the amount of credit you want to purchase.
The corresponding amount will be deducted from your wallet.
- Click “Purchase Credit”.
Confirm your purchase.
✅ Your selected credits will be instantly available, and you're now ready to send messages or track users.
💳 How Charging Works
- Each time you send an SMS or email, your credit balance is debited automatically.
- MAUs are charged based on the number of unique users engaged monthly.
