HOW TO CREATE A PAYMENT EVENT
What are Payment Events?
Payment Events are automatically generated actions tied to your payment gateways. These events allow you to monitor user behavior related to payments and streamline payment workflows.
Examples of Payment Events:
- Successful Payment: Tracks when a user completes a payment successfully.
- Abandoned Cart: Tracks when a user adds items to their cart but does not finalize the purchase.
- Failed Payment: Tracks when a payment attempt is unsuccessful.
Steps to Create a Payment Event
1. Integrate Your Payment Processor
To create Payment Events, you must first connect a payment processor to Bunce. Supported processors include platforms like Flutterwave, Stripe, or Paystack.

2. Segment Customers Using Payment Events
After creating payment events, you can use them to segment customers based on their actions. For example:
- Create a segment for users who completed a successful payment and send them a thank-you email.
- Create a segment for users with abandoned carts and trigger an automated reminder email.
